I left Twitter some time ago & I’m pleased to see that you are here on Bluesky.
Feeling sick at how Trump is treating Ukraine. Never thought I’d see a day when the US was no longer an ally to the West.

Rare and pleasing to see a minister with a moral compass.

It’s deliberate from the right wing press. First names give impression of friendliness. Like they’re your best mate. Look at this recent headline. Kemi in bold & Starmer in strap line. It’s very effective brainwashing.
Also, Badenoch very rarely used as it can be read as Bad Enoch.

When my daughter was little she used to say “I love you in the best world”
Those were the best of times in my best life 😀

Even though it’s on in the middle of the night in UK I’ve watched it every year for about the last 20. Won’t be watching this year. Fallen out with everything American I’m afraid.

Since he was elected I’ve just looked at the headlines. Since inauguration I find it hard to do even that. The media love Trump for the attention he creates & graves. I’m not going to buy into that but still need to be informed. Getting a balance will be a four year challenge.

Victoria Derbyshire is excellent. Cool, calm & always well researched. She destroyed him here.

I’m loving it, brilliant production but I do keep asking myself “What did the Tudors wear in summer?”

I’m confused by holding a knife like a pen? Now if someone held a pen like a knife I could see that being a problem

I’d recommend Ian Hislop on The News Agents Podcast from 5 months ago to get a better/truer insight on Johnson

Just seeing the planets through a telescope is wonderful. To capture an image like this is magical. Well done.

Agree completely, though I feel better for having X out of my life. Maybe his aim was to get everyone who didn’t agree with him to leave but I wasn’t going to stay around with all the hate & anger on that platform. It’s calmer here.

Also thought moderators were excellent. We could learn a lot after the poor debates in our own recent General Election.
