Wake Co Board of Elections Tuesday unanimously scheduled a meeting for Aug 19 to set early voting schedule for the March 3, 2026 statewide primary. The Board voted unanimously in January to have 10 sites (not yet chosen), previous high for mid-term primary is 8 sites /2 #ncpol

if a court ordered Wake to remove 500 ballots, staff would pull the confidential application numbers of those voters then with that list search through well over 1,000 boxes each with 500 ballots that are not in any numerical order and find 500 out of 500,000 in the boxes /2

that’s because all NC absentee ballots (civilian, military and overseas) and early votes have the confidential application number handwritten on them. This can be tied back to the voter. (more …) /1

#ncsbe affidavit shows Jan 24 they replicated plaintiffs database search and found similar 62k number, THEN examined archived images of millions of registration forms and examined the 62k to see what info was on the ACTUAL form and determined 31k were complete. Herculean task.

paragraph 15 of the #ncsbe affidavit (page 8 of affy at end of drive.google.com/file/d/1ZMdv... ) indicates there may be more info available on remaining 30,860 and if court finds legal problem, "individualized one-by-manual review of records" would be required. /2 #ncpol
