The US did not abstain from the vote, as it often does on votes that don't fully align with its policies. China and India abstained. The US voted against this resolution, along with Russia, Belarus, Israel and a handful of countries where Russia has political influence like Sudan, Mali and Niger

tbh I didnt think Trump was delivering much for Big Tech despite their cash donations and passing the "gulf of america" loyalty test. He's keeping a path for TikTok to remain in the US and he hasn't ended the antitrust investigations. But this would change that
