Now officially a “Senior Software Engineer” at MS / Xbox Graphics. Still having fun :D

This is super neat: github.com/Evidlo/remar... Turns a remarkable (e-ink tablet) into a wireless pen tab. Even includes pressure sensitivity if you use this (unmerged) PR: github.com/Evidlo/remar... Interesting that pen-hover still works even though it's not visible on the tablet itself.

🔥 Don't miss the reveal of the next gen AMD Radeon RX 9000 series, along with new technologies, on February 28th at 8am ET/7am CT/5am PT. 🎉 You can watch the unveiling LIVE on the AMD Gaming YouTube channel: bit.ly/3CRgfvX

A long-arse blog post about getting Surface-Stable Fractal Dithering effect running on Playdate, including several side quests. aras-p.info/blog/2025/02... #dithering #playdate

Last July, we published a research paper about our upcoming geometry compression technology - DGF. 🔥 We're now releasing an #opensource toolchain for its evaluation, experimentation, and integration into future game engines 🔥 🗜️ Find out more on GPUOpen! gpuopen.com/learn/proble...

Some recent #BigHops screenshots. Y’all are not going to believe this game.

I’ll take the excuse to stay another day in Canada :P

@randomascii.bsky.social just wanted to say I tried UIForETW today and was really impressed! Also found the codebase pretty easy to extend and added custom events for GPU frequency, which is really helping me with some investigations. Thanks!

I've just released two Lua libraries: * AVM – array programming & linear algebra * Geo2D – 100's of functions for computational geometry Check them out at: 1. github.com/eigenbom/avm 2. github.com/eigenbom/lua...

Thanks to a lot of colleagues' great work, happy to share Vulkan samples for RTX Mega Geometry. They should run on all RTX GPUs using today's new drivers github.com/nvpro-sample... github.com/nvpro-sample... github.com/nvpro-sample... github.com/nvpro-sample...

The blog post is finally done. Give it read if you want to find out more about Real-Time Ocean Rendering in games! Let me know what you think 😄 gikster.dev/posts/Ocean-...

Gigi 0.99.6 released! Introducing the Gigi Browser, which lets you search through a library of Gigi techniques, and you can submit your own as well. Also thanks to Patrick Anderson for making a "Plastic Shaded" view in the model viewer. More info in release notes: github.com/electronicar...

Just a few weeks left until we embark to the Living Lands! Pre-order Avowed today: xbx.lv/4gcCPNd

I'm not sure how widely known it is that older GDC talks are all freely available on the GDC Vault. It looks like every video <= 2022 is available. (Talks are selectively available for the 2 most recent years.) Here are the 2022 ones: gdcvault.com/browse/gdc-22/

What time is Developer_Direct? Tomorrow o’clock (10AM PT to be exact) Catch the show for an exclusive look at some upcoming games: xbx.lv/42k5xIA | #DeveloperDirect

Final Earthblade Update: exok.com/posts/2025-0...

Looking forward to trying this! I quite liked the previous (biking) game!

Foam has been added and that concludes the programming work for this project, as this is the last week. There is a chance that I can take this project over into the next one, where together with a bunch of other Programmers we will develop a specific genre game engine. Looking forward to it 😁

I wrote this post about the illusion that indie is a 'superior development style' about a week ago and waffled on whether or not it was still relevant enough to post. Aftermath putting up a podcast on the same topic today convinced me to finally shove it out the door. auratriolo.com/blog/2025/01...

Another small gem for Graphics Engineers: martinfullerblog.wordpress.com/2025/01/13/m...

By request, a small follow up to my previous blog on DRS, this time covering PC specific difficulities. Interestingly due to the platform rather than the hardware. martinfullerblog.wordpress.com/2025/01/06/d...

Hey there bsky! I'm looking for an internship in graphics/engine programming anywhere in the world (I'm willing to relocate). If you happen to know any open positions or if you work at a company that is taking interns, feel free to contact me! Portfolio ⬇️

Ok for all the generative AI slop buzzwords, there’s a bunch of interesting and likely useful stuff in the longer form Nvidia blog: developer.nvidia.com/blog/nvidia-... The compression cases are interesting, and despite how awful that pic of the AI face is, it’s at least not what I thought it was.
