Let’s just say this is a more forthright (and accurate) assessment of US foreign policy just now than Starmer and other Europeans can afford to make.

Cmon haters I know his voice is annoying and should not have pulled the winter fuel payments but Starmer has so far handled this tricky and extremely dangerous hand he's been dealt masterfully - both principled and pragmatic.

Can you imagine Kemi Badenoch doing what Keir Starmer is doing at the moment? Or Nigel Farage?

This is what allies look like

I really don't know anymore. Macron says no to peace keeping troops in the near future and Starmer says yes? Let's hope it's all a european "maskirovska"

Starmer leads with pragmatism and personal touch as Europe steps up

Thank you "dear Keir Starmer" Ursula Vonderleyen calls him. I heard Zelensky call him Keir He really has done something that has made me so proud to be British again its such a strange feeling after years of embarrassment & our governments have been so full of hatred & division. How refreshing!

Keir Starmer has played a blinder this weekend. After the shameful event at the WH there is no doubt Zelensky will have renewed hope tonight. Add to that Starmer gathered a large number of world leaders to work together on trying to find a peace deal. Real leadership from a real leader 🙂

Starmer's work ethic has been outstanding; I don't remember a PM working has hard as he has. Imagine if Lazy Arse Johnson, Lettuce Liz or Corn Field May was PM. Sunak wouldn't have been much better either.

If only Arsenal had a player like MU’s Obi-Martin !🙄

Thank god for Keir Starmer. Britain's role in today's events would've been less likely under Sunak.

Starmer has had a really good week. Terrible circumstances but he’s stepped up. And with no ideology except to protect British and European interests. More please

I wonder if Keir Starmer will be the new leader of the free world - it seems he already is

He may not be exciting, but my god I’m so relieved and grateful to have Keir Starmer representing us at the moment #BBCLauraK #grownup

Will it be Starmer/Macron who will receive Nobel Peace price in the end?

It should be remembered that in addition to putting on a wig and appearing in court,KCs are specialists in negotiation and persuasion behind the scenes; cutting through the noise to get to a desired result. Starmer’s lawyerly training serves him very well in this moment.

Putin/Farage Reform Party is his Trojan Horse designed to bring division and chaos to U.K. It should be made a proscribed organisation with its leaders interned incommunicado until war with Russia ends. Farage is a traitor.

'Emotional' Zelenskyy comforted by Starmer news.sky.com/video/share-...

How we treat visiting dignitaries, whether we agree or not. We don't get so stinky pouty mad that we [kick them out]. Thank you Starmer. Thank you, leaders of Europe for your strength of commitment, for your belief in democracy and the rule of law.

Really not a great Starmer fan, but proud of him today.

After yesterday’s Oval Office meltdown, Zelenskyy meets with Starmer in Downing Street 10. See if you can spot the difference. youtu.be/2uMEF1q6LGU?...

After yesterday’s awfulness it was lovely to see Keir Starmer hug Zelensky in Downing Street. The Ukrainian leader should be in no doubt that he is among friends here and we stand with him and his people.

Action not words Bravo Keir Starmer #SlavaUkraini 🇺🇦

We need to normalise calling out Nigel Farage and Reform UK for what they are, Nazis.

Farage made 17 appearances on Russian state-funded RT between 2010 and 2014 and while an MEP for Ukip and the Brexit party, his parties several times aligned with hard-right parties in the European parliament to vote against EU motions that were critical of Russia www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Proud of Starmer tonight.

Bloody hell does Starmer have the hardest job of any prime Minister in the last 25 years?!

Well done Starmer. Decency prevails. The armchair haters can now” do one”

The usual crop of Starmer bashers out in force today. Perhaps quite measured mediation is a better approach than knee jerk megaphone armchair diplomacy. Who knows what Trump will say or do today.
