The fact that it’s hard to replace norms (which is what you’re trying to do when creating new ones—because there are always norms) is very much what I’m interested in

Norms are complex! My work is studying how systems of norms function. So I don’t study specific norms or good/bad norms but rather how any norms are sustained—good or bad. Not sure that makes sense but if like to read nerdy things here’s an article that may explain works.bepress.com/ghadfield/54/
