OH WAIT and Robin’s outfit for the concert went fycking crazy?? He had these cool overalls on and I was so fuckibg jealous bc they looked so nice. Also a lot of people going to the concert ALSO had such nice outfits, a lot of alt ppl there. One person there had a cute fluffy bunny ear hat!!

But anyways yeah I think that’s,,,, all that I have to mention about the concert at least for now since I think. It awakened something in my brain. Anyways hi.

Also I just remembered they played BOTH Hayloft and Hayloft II and I felt so much joy. Hayloft is my favorite Mother Mother song so when the beginning of the song started I just had this. Big stupid grin on my face I was so happy LOL

Some other highlights are the one person that was holding a blåhaj plush and trans flag to the crowd which made people cheer HFGHFHVH. Also when Jasmin and Molly came on stage and the crowd just ERUPTED in cheers and applause and it’s like. Yeah. They r so swag,,,,

This entire concert just felt like “Trans Rights: The Musical” and. I love. I loved. It was really nice 2,,, be in that crowd and hearing the entire room and the Music Artists all be supportive of a community that is dealing with a lot of shit rn,,,,

And. At some point near the end of the concert?? They directed their attention to the same person that had the trans flag from before, and once again it was used in a performance (i THINK this is when Body was played??) and later the band signed the flag and gave it back to the person.

Also ofc they played Wrecking Ball and Burning Pile and Neighbour and a bunch of other songs, and VERBATIM??? THAT one was unexpected and I think I ended up screaminhg again I think I was probably very irritating but everyone was screaming. im probably just being mean to myself calling it irritating

I think I maybe screamed when Bit by Bit came on and wow they did such a fantastic job performing and the light work was great and?? They also played some songs that have significance to me like Ghosting (my username is based on it), Oh Ana (character I have), and Body (first song I heard from them)

After that lovely performance and being brutally murdered by emotions, Mother Mother came on!! They played a lot of their older works, and some newer stuff (such as Explode!) and. My arms and legs and throat hurt so bad from this concert y’all it was a problem

It felt weird as well, since I was at this concert by myself, yet during this song in particular my brain kinda just went like. Oh. A lot of the people here right now are like you. Even though I don’t know them personally.

The song he performed was “This Is Home”, which. I wanted to cry from listening to HFHFHFH is my,,, favorite Cavetown song next to Devil Town. He wore the trans flag as a cape during the performance and and and I love I cry i frow up

At the end of the show, he mentioned how he really appreciated how nice the crowd was and that he wanted to do one more special song. He asked someone in the crowd that was at the front if he could borrow their trans flag for the performance, which they did let him use it (and he gave it back after)

I,,, genuinely didn’t expect Winnetka Bowling League or Cavetown to be there bc when I was buying the tickets they only mentioned Mother Mother on them, but when I was in the merch line I noticed that there was more than Mother Mother merch and I was,,,, very confused until the show started JFHGHF

I wasn’t familiar with Winnetka Bowling League prior to the concert, but I liked the stuff they played and they did a great performance!
I mention this as my unfamiliarity with them is why I won’t be really mentioning them, HOWEVER it was really nice being able to see them in person C:
