I agree, I feel they shouldā€™ve skipped more generations after Korra so it is a ā€˜new timelineā€™/we see how the world has changed/more separation from past characters & world. I want to believe old characters/plot lines wonā€™t be dug up again, but with media reliance on nostalgia I am skeptical

I still like sci-fi, but agree I hope capitalism crashes so we can make cool stuff that betters humanity rather than weapons of destruction (capitalism really limits what gets created and valued). Plus part of the genre has always had evil tech and dystopian militarized governments

Thanks for sharing and happy six years! I donā€™t think Iā€™ve heard a better way to describe it than being a passenger. Itā€™s been more than a year for me and I canā€™t believe how connected I feel to myself, I never thought it would be easy to be myself or happy until I started transitioning

Exactly!! Yeah a lot of them I have seen using it now are unfortunately more established bands with followingsā€¦which feels so wrong to not support another artist at that point. Plus itā€™s like you want us to respect your music as art, but you donā€™t care about how the cover, promo, or mv is madeā€¦

Agree so much, Iā€™ve seen a couple bands who typically are vocal about their political stance/moral beliefs use AI art. It feels baffling to stand against this and that, but not pay a genuine artist to make you stuff (not to mention the ai art always looks bad and feels like a soulless back drop)

Yeah, I can say as someone who works on a more ā€˜progressive teamā€™ and pushed them to have inclusive workplace practices for trans people, that being nice and educating didnā€™t work. The transphobes will still misgender you and refuse to recognize the harm they are perpetuatingā€¦letā€™s bite back

forever when nothing around you feels stable. I wish I felt a bit of the safety she felt in terms of suffering being over, but itā€™s not my time to leave. All to say I hope we all come to peace and blood is saved. I want to say more but a poem may be more substantial than me rambling about a crow.

she died, but something in her softness felt like peace. With so much happening in the world I am afraid that the only way Iā€™ll find peace is death. Iā€™m at a point where finding peace at some point is enough, whether it is death or in moments of life. I think the uncertainty of when can feel like

Iā€™ll probably redraw this one later on, but I was going through my camera roll recently and I rediscovered some photos of a dead crow I saw on the sidewalk late last year. I donā€™t typically see larger birds intact, so I snapped some photos. She looked so peaceful on the concrete, I donā€™t know how

He is one of my comfort characters there is something very charming about him trying to scheme and his ā€˜evilā€™ laugh. Plus the character design is peak imo (a rat + a candle)
