it’s definitely new models, but i think it’s just a case of non-industry people not knowing what they’re talking about. more detail and more controls for the animator does not mean redesign, nothing about the core details of the characters’ appearance has changed

fr, my least favorite part of 1 and 2 was the struggle of trying to bait over anything swimming in or flying above water and hoping you don’t go below waist level. fighting in water in 3 was such a good QoL change

fr, xenoblade has some of the best music in Nintendo’s catalogue. i wonder if their concern is how niche it is among more casual nintendo fans, but then again they got Golden Sun and Wave Race 64

i’m ok with it if the player has a decent amount of aoe/multi-target abilities, cause then it encourages you to adapt between a single target strategy to crowd control, but otherwise yea it’s annoying and slows the fight down

i get so possessive over game saves. if a game has limited slots and i need to delete an old save for a new playthrough i get so emotional and feel so guilty even if i was never gonna load it up again
