Oh I'm very familiar with this talk. I may be able to recite it word for word. What I don't know is why NO DEMOCRATIC POLITICIANS SEEM TO HAVE TAKEN HEED. Or actually, we do. Democrats can't see a political path forward without big money. They need to go. Dump the party. Start a new one.

Isn't this a pretty straightforward 1a violation of press freedoms? Isn't this why Trump and others couldn't block users on Social Media? Isn't anyone bringing a 1a case against them?

Since nothing is perfect, efficiency efforts are perpetual and continuous. Acting like they haven't happened and aren't always happening is foolish. Acting like they'll dig up TRILLIONS is more foolish. Acting like they'll balance the budget or payoff the debt is DELUSIONAL. #TAXTHERICH

I'd definitely volunteer money for anyone to bring a case. And honestly, he could bring a case against many of the defendants. Same is true of any of the other LE who were harmed, the families of those who died, and the politicians who feared for their lives as they were terrorized by a mob.
comment in response to post
For Civil cases, that would be a high bar to us to prove damages we suffered. Our "standing" would be shaky. But for those who were harmed directly like officer Michael Fanone, it's a cakewalk as his evidence was directly entered in the criminal case and helped achieved the guilty verdict.

PREACH. Why is this difficult for anyone to understand?
comment in response to post
I don't understand why these pardons haven't opened the floodgates to a tsunami of Federal CIVIL cases. Trump cannot pardon them. The justice department cannot defend them. And it is VERY rare in a case where the defendant is found guilty of a crime that they aren't also liable in Civil court.

Democrats should have been ready DAY 1 with their project 2025 starting with 10,000 libel lawsuits against Trump and Republican cronies for all the libelous things they said about various Democrats which cost us the election. it's like they have no idea how successful Trump has been at this tactic.

REMAKE THE WORLD DAILY? You're already 50 years behind and at the rate Republicans are destroying the world, you're falling behind a year for every additional day Trump is in office. All you will do is FIX DISREPAIR IF, that is IF, you ever hold office again. You better find a better tag line.

NO it's not. Every Democrat I know wants to turn away from your BUSINESS AS USUAL. The DNC is a BIG BUSINESS that has only failed us for 30 years. Time to CALL THIS PARTY DOA and START OVER.

OK, Well START by stamping his misinformation out. HEY, KEN MARTIN: The correct line is "THE POOR and THE BOTTOM 99% are NOT THE ENEMY". The WRONG LINE is "There are good Billionaires". We don't NEED A SINGLE BILLIONAIRE for a thriving middle class. We need NO poor people either. FOCUS.

Too bad all her costumery couldn't keep ILLEGAL ALIEN MUSK from harming the citizens of SOUTH DAKOTA. Wasn't she just governor there? I wonder why she isn't speaking up for them. www.lawyersgunsmoneyblog.com/2025/02/elon...

We would have been finer now and never had to deal with him had we elected her as the most qualified person in 2008. That was OUR failure.

STOP Funding all the politicians and redirect all donations to organizations that will help fund any lawyers willing to do partial /pro bono work for the cause. Trump will NEVER have any good lawyers in the Justice department so they are easily beaten in court. Hold even the Press Sec accountable!
comment in response to post
FINALLY...THE RIGHT ANSWER. Democrats should have been as ready to go on day 1 with lawsuits as Trump was with executive orders. Bury every department in so many lawsuits and get all of the officials in court so much that they can't get any work done. THIS IS TRUMPS TACTIC! IT WORKS! SUBMERGE!

Thanks. Good read. I am sample checking each list before I block. So is it best to reach out to the list author (I guess) to let them know if an account doesn't seem like a fit for the list?
comment in response to post
First one I tested definitely was not so this list needs work.

WOW, 3 days and 3 major incidents. Trump is really off to a deadly start. Do any of us want to wait for an Encore?
comment in response to post
OH YEAH? Well he had better fight to DUMP BUSINESS AS USUAL because many of us are DONE WITH THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. You losers allowed this slow motion train wreck to ruin the country. You could have taxed BILLIONAIRES but you're too chicken shit to actually care about average Americans. FOH.

Yawn.

Well I'll just say this. I block everyone who attempts to use this platform as facebook. It's not. We are not here for your personal stories. We are here for good stories, nominally educational ones, but not for anyones life story.

The world has called Nazi's "Nazi's" for over 80 years, and deservedly so. Sometimes if the shoe fits people should have to wear it. Religion would never have succeeded as it has had it not shamed some people. Now THEY may have taken shaming too far, but it still works.

Far worse in this case. Once he takes anyone there they are outside the Jurisdiction of US laws and he can hold them indefinitely. He could start kidnapping democratic politicians and activists and taking them there and there's nothing we could do about it.

AND, most importantly, they are on the hook for unemployment benefits for a LONG TIME if they fire you. That's likely worth way more in the end than any buyout package and certainly more than them cheating you out of one.

You have become a gardener? Why wasn't I notified? I'm your absolute best-gardener friend. I'm not tertiary.

Democrats don't need thoughts and prayers from you any more than we do from feckless Republicans. DO SOMETHING for the LOVE OF GOD.

Light WHAT UP? "THIS MAILBOX IS FULL" I guess that means it's lit. I'm concerned that these douchecanoes are doing nothing to protect our airline safety. Jesus they are firing everyone at the FAA, a non partisan safety function. How does that help keep us safe. Oh, that IDIOT Kennedy too.

You may consider exploring the psychology of this - you're filling your timeline with pictures. These come across huge on this platform. They take two pages to scroll through on a laptop. They slow down perusing through a feed. I'm muting everyone who posts them. Bluesky is for "News"
comment in response to post
You know, crowding our timelines with giant pictures will be the main reason your account gets muted and/or blocked. If you have something to SAY to the public, then say it. But leave the gratuitous art out of it.

Donald Trump does not care one whit for a government that serves people. He only cares how it serves HIM. Pointless to appeal to the so called "Humanity" of a man who has never had any. It's time folks learned that none of these tactics work with Sociopaths. That's well proven.
comment in response to post
There are no "realizations" in fantasy land. Just new fantasies.
comment in response to post
There's a better reason. Aren't the feds obligated by law to pay Unemployment benefits, for a long time, if they fire someone? That's why I wouldn't quit. That's two in the bush guaranteed right there.

Did they have notes that said "Don't be like Donald", "Sexual assault is NOT Rape", "Grab 'em by the pussy, but wear protection"?
comment in response to post
The DNC does need to go away and do an HONEST POST ELECTION ANALYSIS. If they don't get better at appealing to an electorate, countering and eliminating fascism, and neutering the Republican party, Democracy is done. It's like they've never hear of te Heritage Foundation, and created an Opposite.

Just caught her in, and called her on, a lie about Elizabeth Warren at the hearing today.
comment in response to post
1. It doesn't say Elizabeth Warren on there 2. I just checked Open secrets and her account shows a total of 1.2 million for the last 34 years, SO YOU ARE LYING. 3. The only politicians who come anywhere close to this number are no longer in office and were running or in higher office.
comment in response to post
Testify to what? You seem excited over something but there's really nothing to testify to. The hearings were wide open and there's a record of everything said and written.
