Had a couple of folk say they wanted to make comics but couldn’t draw well enough. So PSA: if you make the thing, you get better at the drawing (and the writing) in the process of making the thing. And then the next one is a bit better, and so on and so forth. Making “crap” stuff is allowed.

Russ' speech inherently claims that the Emperor cares more about him and the other Primarchs than over Valdor because of their blood ties, which we all know mean jack shit to the Emperor. I'm sure none of us missed the meaning.
