Damned right.

Diversity means the most qualified candidates have an opportunity to compete - not the whitest.

I miss my president, and the one who should have been next.

Land doesn’t vote. Stop pretending it does.

I prefer presidents who aren't wannabe authoritarians.

As aghast and stricken as all the major news outlets are at the insanity of Trump’s pics, it sure as fuck would have been nice if those same outlet’s hadn’t spend the year before the election downplaying the risk of this exact scenario.

Happy secular Advent, everybody! Week One - HOPE This means a great deal to me, to begin with this thought in mind. "Hope is being able to see all that there is light, despite all of the darkness." - Desmond Tutu

I get the pushback to Bluesky in that it further bifurcates our media ecosystem. But at this point, Twitter’s content moderation is so nonexistent and its verified users so extreme that the choice becomes either move away from Twitter or be subjected to straight up 4chan nazi bile on a daily basis.

Almost half the country is now being held hostage by a rapist felon because we were out-voted by the slimmest majority, by lazy, stupid, sexist, bigots.

Two things I'm thankful for: 1. Kamala. After the dark days of Biden's debate, she gave us 3 months of pure joy. Yes, we came up short. But it sure was fun. 2. Bluesky. A bright light in a dark time. Not sure where we'd be right now (mentally) without it. Truly the start of something beautiful.

WHO believes MERRICK GARLAND waited 20 MONTHS 2 LONG 2 appoint JACK SMITH??!!! I SURE DO!! 🖐🏼🖐🏼🖐🏼🖐🏼

TODAY’S EPISODE OF: F*CK AROUND AND FIND OUT! US farm groups want Trump to spare their workers from deportation. Gotta ask—how did the farmers vote? It’s almost like actions have consequences…

This…this is it. In a nutshell, yes.

Leak the report.

Bluesky tip for newbies: Bluesky has no real algorithm. Likes here do nothing but show the poster that you enjoyed their content. That kindness is always going to be appreciated by creators, but if you want to help to boost something here, you have to repost it so others see it. 🙂

I'm new here, but finding old friends and follows, just fine. I like the idea of some bluer skies. Thanks for all the follows, friends! We'll get through this, somehow and together.
