Well, the Trump administration got to the T-4 program faster than I expected. www.the-independent.com/news/world/a...

This happened last week! But the very kind university should not give glass trophies to clumsy people, that's all I'm saying 😆😱 www.arch.cam.ac.uk/news/triple-...

I’d be very interested to know what the situation is across the U.K. and Europe. If you don’t have any external grant, do you have an annual research allowance to spend on conferences, fieldwork, etc from your department? How much?

I’m in Guernsey for the weekend to film a documentary on the occupation. Here’s a 1941 edition of the Guernsey Star with the 2nd and 3rd orders against the Jews printed for all to see. I could feel the humiliation this caused.

It’s been quite a week of Holocaust Memorial Day events, with more to come next week, but how I enjoyed @philippesands.bsky.social electrifying and charismatic talk at St Catharine’s college last night! We had a lovely dinner afterwards. Thank you, Philippe!

I so enjoyed meeting and interviewing Dr Peter Lantos, survivor of Bergen-Belsen, for the #HolocaustMemorialDay event at the University of Cambridge’s Institute of Continuing Education. What a lovely man!

It’s a privilege to be invited to the national Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony in London today. A very moving and powerful event.

This year #HolocaustMemorialDay marks 80 years since the Liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau Visit #TheHolocaustExplained to learn more about conditions in the camp, key events such as the Sonderkommando uprising, and the liberation #OnThisDay in 1945 🔗 https://buff.ly/3CeRb1t

On today's episode, I talk with Anne Kelly Knowles and Tim Cole about how thinking geographically can change our understanding of the Holocaust. It was a really thought-provoking conversation!

"One of the world’s largest Holocaust archives is accessible online for the first time after a three-year digitisation of much of the collection... the Wiener Holocaust Library’s new online platform includes more than 150,000 items collected over nine decades" www.theguardian.com/world/2025/j...

In 2018, artist Sara Davidmann came to the Library for an exhibition on the search for the missing after the Holocaust Sara was beginning to research her family history following the discovery of a photo-album Join us on Monday to hear more for #HMD2025 wienerholocaustlibrary.org/event/in-con...

Me, prepared for today / the next 4 years.

Pals in Jersey, do attend Holocaust Memorial Day commemorations in the island, where Toby Simpson of the @wienerlibrary.bsky.social will be speaking.

Rather starstruck to have seen Nazi hunters Serge and Beate Klarsfeld on the stage at the Memorial de la Shoah conference today!

I got inside Notre Dame this evening. The front facade looks amazing but the inside just feels like a new building, lacking the atmosphere of an old building.

Excited to have been invited to the Memorial de la Shoah in Paris for their conference on 80 years after the Holocaust. Looking forward to the many discussions on the challenges that lie ahead for the sector.

I’m not saying that Pipkin is spoilt. But I did warm up his cat food lunch on the stove after he came in freezing cold after gallivanting in the garden. 🙄😻
