The Lodge where I'm working is near the park border, but is technically on the Blackfeet reservation. There are a few trails I can hike right from where I live. This is one of them, heading up Dancing Lady mountain. I didn't have enough time today to get up on the mountain, but soon! #hike #hiking

Besides #hiking , the best part about working #glacierpark is the friends I've met. I met John in 2021 and we reunited today to #hike to #avalanchelake. It's a pretty easy 5 miles roundtrip, and worthwhile as you start in huge old growth cedars, then rainforest, then land at this gorgeous lake!

(2/2, #cobaltlake #glacierpark ) Also, the weather started to turn, so I headed back, but about 8.5 miles and 1500 feet of elevation gain, not a bad day at all. So grateful to be here this summer!

The #hike to #cobaltlake in #glacierpark is underrated! It's a gorgeous hike through a valley of giant mountains, passing streams, waterfalls, lots of wildflowers. I often see a moose along the way. I didn't make it all the way to the lake as the last mile + was snow-covered and difficult (1/2)

I received this gorgeous gift of chocolates today from my favorite new teammate, Milda, who is from Lithuania and is as sweet as this candy! They are so beautiful I can't bring myself to eat one. We employ many J1 international workers from all over the world, and they add so much to this place!

Gorgeous day for hike to Iceberg Lake. Trails still pretty empty, which is so nice! The lake is still frozen over and at least a mile of snow to get through to get there, plus a painfully cold stream to ford as footbridge not yet installed. All well worth it! #hiking #glacierpark #iceberglake

I'm working at Glacier Park Lodge this summer, we open in a week. I am so impressed by the staff who are all absolutely killing it this year. Special shout out to the employee dining room staff. The food is phenomenal, always a vegetarian option, perfectly cooked, delish! Ive never eaten so well!!

I packed my car in a panic tonight. I leave for a summer in Glacier Park in a few days and there are 3 wildfires nearby, so I may have to suddenly evacuate. Yes, I overpacked, but I will have the coziest dorm room there! Yes, that's a tv on top, I like my evening movies!
