We were employed by the Straits of Gibraltar for a while. Not a bad employer until we said we wanted to visit the Black Sea and he got really angry. That's when we realised he wasn't the boss for us.

If you do a close read not only of the Bible but the archeology, it starts to look like the Israelites, & all but a couple of Judean kings, worshipped a goddess for pretty much the whole First Temple era. The implications of this are... far ranging-- & her name might not be what we've believed.

The last delivery from our friendly local feed store today, which is an extra-sad occasion because they're helpful and knowledgeable and we're close enough to be on the cheapest delivery rate. Now we'll have to find someone else who delivers hay and I doubt they'll be as practical for our set-up.

i'm going to keep making this point EVERY FUCKING TIME: it takes a years, if not decades, of peer-reviewed, repeatable research for scientists to describe any living animal as having an intention or desire but with AI--which does not have a brain--they throw around "refuses" and "self-preservation"

The Prime Minister (and Labour party, apparently) seem to think this is a reasonable premise for a business, but I think most of the electorate can see that it's absolutely insane, without needing expertise in copyright or language model training. I have no idea what they think they're doing.
