It is crap when things are kept out of the world feed visuals but the world feed uses the main domestic commentators. Same thing happens a lot in NASCAR. I liked seeing it in real-time vs the suspense of waiting for them to cross the line though. Different way of portraying the drama, certainly.

Guessing it's a Fox innovation that's not being properly shared with the world feed then. Which is a bit crap given the world feed carries the commentary from... Fox. Same thing often happens with NASCAR broadcasts where the world feed can't see what the commentators are referencing 👎

Impressive if so!

I’m glad the tradition of ‘must watch leader take flag’ was ditched for once. Would much rather follow an actual last lap battle for other positions 👍

Not only is he yet to build a successful football team, but the cycling team he bought went from all-conquering to anonymously average too

That's amazing. Great commitment!

I always thought he was doing that too but he was actually just running away before another car drove into them!

It was probably one of the races F1 showed on YouTube

Yeah, by a quirk of scheduling the episodes he chose ended up back to back!

He almost certainly is. I think I said on a recent episode that he's been "Senna movie'd".

Haha incredible. Did they let you keep the suit??

Haha same. An interview with him always seemed to be cover-worthy back then! (cc @thebishf1.bsky.social )

Wow, that's... amazing! How-What-Why etc! 😂

That is VERY cool!

Same! I had my first ones for two years before I ever saw them on TV. My parents tell me I was dumbfounded the first time I caught a glimpse of a race when my Dad was channel-hopping in 1989

Hahaha I see what you did there 😏

The Mansell FW14B Lego set looks awesome too

Why would I change your mind 😂 You can prefer whatever you want! I'm just glad that at long last F1 is making up ground in such an obvious area (with Lego and Hot Wheels) that allows them to potentially create new lifelong fans.

I think F1 has been missing out in this area for decades now. How do you get to kids before they have screens shoved in their faces? Toys! It seemed such a strange area for them to overlook for so long.

My 30+ year old collection has been passed down to my toddler son to play with/destroy, but there's two cars he can't have: I got these when I was 18 months old, and it was another 2 years before I learned there were real versions of them that raced all over the world! 🫶

Thanks so much!

Thanks, glad to hear it. The effort is all worth it if there are people out there who like the show 🙌

Yeah, show the local driver who's 2 laps down in 14th, or just watch the dominant race leader drone round on his own for 20 laps 😂 Thanks so much for the kind words, really glad you enjoy the show.

You're welcome Barry! Yeah back then we were still in the days of local TV directors rather than a centralised F1 production. The quality of the broadcasts would really vary from race to race!

Was hoping there was a full vid coming on this. Look forward to giving it a watch 🍿
