A great start to the year for the first two race days of 2025. I was launching to try and catch the break, I did my job and had good sensations in the legs. However, deep into the third stage, it all came tumbling down, quickly.... open.substack.com/pub/tomports...

Don't worry guys, I heard that people are going to get into cycling by stumbling across social media clips and will immediately pay £31 per month to watch it. It's all fine.

The Tour d'Algérie has ten stages. Yacine Hamza is on the way to a clean sweep!

Soudal-QuickStep have pulled out of the Tour du Rwanda Foré: “The start and finish in the risk area, where our hotel is also located, did worry us a bit…In the end, we made the decision not to send 20 people there if there was no absolute guarantee that this could be done safely."

QuickStep CEO Julien Foré: “They guarantee our safety, they say. But what does that mean? Even if there is only a small chance that something will happen, even that is too much...we would at least have liked them to stay further away from the region in question...That is a cause for concern.”
