I remember back in 2020 when here in Reno, NV we were set to break multiple heat records in the 100's during the summer. Then the smoke rolled in from Cali and we were barely in the mid 80's. Earth systems can balance out in unusual ways 🫠

Their will be winners and losers globally. Mostly unpredictable which communities will muster on while the climate refugees batter against the walls created to keep them out 🫠

Yes, but the planet will still be spinning. Cheers to the next evolution 🧬🌎

Yep, the oceans are absorbing most of the CO2 and by the time the sea life goes, we'll be cooked

Our biology limits our understanding of large scale and global sized problems. Our brains are perfectly suited for living in communities of 40-60 individuals. We resort to fear when we don't have the bandwidth to address issues beyond our tribe. We're not a failure, we just haven't evolved enough 🐡

In the year 3000, Welcome to ____ national park, do not explore any of the trails during daytime as extreme temperatures will kill you. Enjoy the park during the nighttime when temps are safe and the only animals left alive can be seen with night vision goggles #extremeheat

What's our record this year for the warmest months? 3/4? Didn't we have a 23 month steak going?

I wonder what the illiteracy rate is among that sample size. How many voters are told what to believe and don't have the ability to actually read any info that says otherwise πŸ€”

Yep, I've made the choice to replace most of my wardrobe with cotton/hemp clothing and ditch all plastic and their aliases: polyester, nylon, acrylic, spandex, acetate, tencel, microfiber, neoprene, vinyl, etc. Incredible that most people are walking around in plastic fibers head to toe daily

Tax Day is a reminder that there is strength in numbers. This administration is using our money to takeover our government - and WE have the power to stop them. We will not allow our tax dollars to be used to undermine the Constitution, disappear our neighbors, or destroy our institutions.

Plastic from the ocean surface to the ocean floor! We are building a wall after all 🫠

Because language evolves and is fueled with disinformation in part by social media. Chemtrails likely came from Contrails, short for Condensation trails, the natural phenomenon that condenses water vapor at high altitudes around the soot and carbon emitted from jet engine's tailpipes

People don't respond to data and facts as well as they do stories about people actually being affected by climate disasters. That's why disasters like floods and fires that are well covered by the media get so much support, at least at first, before the media cycle moves on

Unfortunately, this is not the shrinkage that can be cured with heat. We need big cold energy and that we ain't got 🫠
