Even if it was true: can anyone actually blame them?
If every aspect of my life looked completely hopeless because the generations before me maliciously broke literally every system in existence so they actively worked against me; I can't say I'd bother trying either.

You're correct, but they weren't found in the U.S....

My biggest problem with the blindspot is that it fails to mention, in this case, that the vast majority of the right wing sources reporting are known disinformation and propaganda sites, so of course they're going to jump on the "CHINA BAD" stories.

Oh look. More proof that tech companies have no new ideas and that their entire business model is to horn in on public services and privatize them. We're living in a nightmare.

He's told us he doesn't even know how to cook, and he's at the age where it would be pretty difficult to learn new life skills.
It's... Not great.
IDK. I just wanted to type all of this out because I've been thinking about it a lot.

...he's grieving because his wife (who he's crazy about, still) is in a helpless state.
But the truth is that societal structure has allowed him to buck these responsibilities for long enough that he never needed to learn them and now that's he's alone; he's been thrown to the wolves and... (7/?)

There's definitely an argument to be made that he should be more plugged into the home and know more about these things.
There's also an argument to be made that... (6/?)

...his wife did, in fact, go shopping every week.
Our utility company has some billing issues and over-billed everyone. The neighbors are on a fixed income, thus have a flat rate, and they got overcharged as well. He didn't realize what was happening until my wife explained that he needs... (5/?)

The other day I was in the driveway and he was telling me he was going to get groceries but was surprised that he had to go shopping again because "the kids just took me last week and I don't have anything left!" not realizing that... (4/?)

This includes paying the rent, groceries, laundry, and utilities.

Even after the kids moved out and she got a job; she still took care of the home and everything that came with it.

Radiohead's music is fine, for the most part.
In a few of the interviews I've read, Thom Yorke gives me Moz vibes, minus the white nationalism.
They definitely fall into the same camp as Sublime, Weezer, Slipknot, etc., where their fans are exponentially more insufferable than the actual band.

Annnnd I just found out Thom Yorke released an electronic album that's supposedly good...
Can't wait for the insufferability to increase exponentially.

I don't necessarily think those symbols should be exclusively applied to fascism or conservatism, and if people are buying those things because they believe they're symbols of freedom, I'd say you have an argument, on moral grounds, as to why donating proceeds to anti-fascist groups is a good thing.

Because I know I've never met a vet, proud of their service, who wasn't deeply, viscerally offended when people don't put respect on Veterans Day.

Sure is a really effective way to weed out the Trump supporting vets who are actually brainwashed.
Not talking those who happen to be assholes, or happen to be racist, but actual cult-level brainwashed.

If there are other cars around, at least there's the fairly sound reasoning of "If I don't let this person go, nobody will." when there's nobody around, apparently there's the same amount of thought processing happening.

I think the prime offenders might be the people who are travelling straight, with no one around for miles, and still stop to let you take a left because what is going through their head there?
