Basically, Tesla is failing (they’re newest car is 6 yrs old with no R&D on the horizon). SpaceX has such high turnover that they have a hard time recruiting talent. Blue Origin just put a rocket into orbit, something SpaceX has been unable to do yet.

And to be clear, I am not terribly interested in hating on Carter, he did many good things, but I also think it is good to keep things in perspective.
