As the federal government is withholding funding for arbitrary reasons from the state of Maine, there's an American tradition that comes to mind. "No taxation without representation." Why should we collect federal taxes when they're withholding funding? @governorferguson.bsky.social WA soon too

They are pretending the supreme court ruling was in their favor. They expect you not to read and comprehend the order and to trust them. Don't do it. And anyone who agrees with them, please, ask them to read the SC ruling themselves. Wake up. Resist. General strike. Take back our country.

I'm seeing a bunch of people saying "I voted for you and now my retirement is gone." That's terrible, honestly. I don't wish harm or strife on anyone. But I will say, we all said this over and over to not vote for the guy who has bankrupted 6 companies. You're surprised he's bankrupting America?

Privatizing Social Security means people will die. Privatizing the Post Office means people will lose the right to vote by mail. Rural America will be unreachable because no private carrier will go there. Privatizing the VA means vets do not get the specialized care they need & have earned.
