Seeing this really brings home for me that Trump is more of a symptom than anything else. We have the most militarized police in the world. And they are all fans of fascism. That's why cops love Trump, and they will love the next fascist who takes his place. I don't know how we solve this problem.

I live in a sleepy bedroom community in the East Bay of San Francisco. Thousands of people turned out, lining both sides of the main thoroughfare. I was shocked and amazed. Trump is historically unpopular, regardless of what the gatekeepers of the news will tell you.

Was waiting to be seated for brunch at the Seal Rock Inn in San Francisco, and standing a few feet away was Carlos Santana and his son. I tried to introduce myself and tell him I was a big fan, but I was so nervous the words came out all garbled. They were seated near us. Carlos smiled and waved.
