Yes! I think the biggest mistake of those countries was that the left was never united and then played elitist againy the right or never forgived them, so the divide only grew further. I think we can learn from them and at least try to reach out to a handful of people.

You can def go to EU countries with €1mil, there are some for $500k or you can also visit them and see if you can get a job and apply for a work visa. I am in the same boat trying to figure out options, except I am in my 20s and not much in the bank. Wishing you all the luck!

Depends on what country and how much money you have in your pocket. You may be able to get into some countries through investment or property purchase, but the list is not long unless you have 1mil euro. I would definitely apply for a travels visa to 2 different countries just in case.
