Weekend self-care? I stay up late for FNM and sleep laaaaate on Saturdays. I think it’s going to rain again, but I want to get outside starting soon.

Taking a two-hour ambulance ride to get stabilized after a car accident—is that the Great that MAGA was talking about?

The thing I want most from social media is smart people with a different frame of reference – often due to race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, country of origin, class, academic training - to tell me what the world looks like to them right now. Bluesky does this. /3

These kids LOVE their band teacher, though. I get the sense that putting One Last Performance on the program was the students’ idea.

Okay, graduation underway. jazz band about to perform. They’re pretty good! Lots of seniors—the best musicians here couldn’t play for their own professional.

Did a deep dive on logging in the early 20th century as prep for a TTRPG. Read hundreds of pages of transcripts of oral history accounts.

The obvious two losers, plus Rep Ro Khanna for thinking it was a good idea to try to court one of the losers to his side. Three losers.

Think about how Jason Rainville posts photos of himself in poses with light from specific directions so he gets the shadows and highlights right, then look again at that fucking mess of a dragon with highlights in the wrong places that

Once someone points out how Midjourney and Dall-e and so on do highlights, it’s impossible not to notice it and be bothered by it. If its knee was pulled up between its front legs, it would have a shadow on it.

That’s what I was thinking. When I run a red light it’s usually so I’m at a reasonable running speed by the time traffic catches up to me because they’re really grouchy if they have to wait for me to accelerate.

It reads clearly in very few characters, though. As a Magic Judge, I think I like it.

That was what I said in my ALT text, but it’s like it can’t decide whether it’s a knee or negative space.

They know AI doesn’t need to be better than live artists, just has to be good enough to trick a few people into paying $10-25.

What the heck is going on here? If it’s this obvious at phone thumbnail size, how bad is this art, really?

Cheap vanilla is what people think of when they say they don’t like vanilla. Real vanilla, real cream is S-tier ice cream.
