Many thanks. The problem is now fixed, so you should be able to see it again once you refresh.

Good luck! I’ve just ended a nine year stint. I’ve read some great stuff in that time.

I could send you a copy of my Jesus in Film syllabus. I'm teaching it for the fourth time this semester. I'm a bit unusual, though, in that I include some TV, including some Jesus documentaries -- generates more variety.

I suppose that's what comes with not being systematic but ad hoc. He'd be a great topic.

I’d need to remind myself about it.

Thanks, Matt. Yes, I really see the animation issue now given the advances of the last 25 years. I am happy with the addition of Mary. I must blog and podcast as much as I can because I love this stuff.

I’ve always loved it but the technology has so advanced in the last generation that it’s a tough watch for the younger people.

I used to do a blog series on the Farrer Theory being ignored. TBF, it's more unusual than not these day.

The Fourth Synoptic Gospel: John’s knowledge of Matthew, Mark, and Luke (Eerdmans). Not allowed to share cover art yet, but it’s good.

Sounds like a great idea for a podcast. I recently talked about this topic in my online course, The Mysteries of the Synoptics.

Thanks! I’m looking at the copy edits of my John book at the moment, so only a few months more to wait.

Good question. I think he must have hoped to replace since he copied out so much of Matthew and Mark. John, by contrast, simply presupposes a lot of the Synoptic narratives that he does not narrate. But Luke may have known that Matthew was already hugely popular, so a vain hope. Guesses!

Yes, Finding Jesus (CNN) is not bad. Bible Secrets Revealed is also worth a look.

Yes, that’s a good one.

Interesting. I had assumed that sessions that had not updated in the app had just not bothered to update that.

Haha. Yes, that’s what I’ve spent decades thinking when reading these books!
