Around 1990(ish)... in my local game shop I was drawn into an argument around Eldar reasoning (would "X" make sense considering their defined goals and priorities?) To me, the idea that this provoked such deep discussion drew me into the lore. (Plus, Orc 'logic' had me laughing out loud!)

I met President Carter when I was in college, but it took the next thirty years for me to learn about him as a leader and a human being. I wish I had met him much later instead so I'd have realized what an honor it was to shake his hand.
