Arsenal have played Manchester United twice at home in the FA Youth Cup. In 1973 they won 2-0 with goals from John Matthews & Brian Hornsby. In 2007 a record FA Youth Cup crowd of 38,187 saw Arsenal win 1-0 thanks to a Kieran Gibbs' goal. thearsenalcollection.org.uk?page_id=10767

Born on this day 1910, George Hunt. I believe he is unique in winning a league winner's medal despite not starting or finishing the season with the team that won the title. He joined Arsenal in October 1937, played 18 league games and left in March 1938.
