I fully understood the sarcasm behind the hashtag. It appears that everyone else did as well. Except you.

One minor thing - Derby & Preston were automatically promoted in 1915 as they finished in the top two places in Division Two that season.

One poorly recruited player on £200k per week is paid the equivalent of 260 back office staff on £40k per year.

Peter Powell, a DJ in the UK in the 1980s, also did this.

This is Manchester City's highest attendance for a home league match.

You're lucky that Ipswich, Southampton & Leicester are in the PL this season otherwise it could be relegation.

Didn't go to another West Ham game until 1983-84.

An 8 year old me was at this game as well. I was unceremoniously ejected from my place sat on a crush barrier on the North Bank by West Ham fans when we went to 2-1 up. My older brother quickly removed us to another part of the terrace.

One that triggers Neville & Carragher so much that their voices will only be able to be heard by dogs.

The winner going in off Sterling's arse in the 6th minute of 5 added minutes after ping-ponging around the penalty area like in one of those "football in the 90s clips". 👍

I've just been informed that Denis Clapton passed away in August last year. RIP Denis.

Some of them only played one or two games. Roy Goulden was the son of Len Goulden, who was quite a big name in the 1930s / 1940s. I'm sure Roy signing for Arsenal had nothing to do with his dad being on the coaching staff at the time!

Is been said many times already but needs saying again - it's like a cult.

Very much so. I've found on X that people are willing to perform the most incredible mental gymnastics in refusing to believe irrefutable proof that counters their belief in what is written on the Internet.

Since then X has released Grok 3 which is supposedly the mutt's nuts. I asked the same question.
Different answer but still wrong.

If it can't answer easily verifiable simple facts, how can anyone trust it with something complex?

No, but we did play them in Peter Storey's testimonial. George Best didn't turn up as he was probably shagging Miss World instead.

If they draw another game then it's in our hands.

It's out there now and part of history. When idiots use AI to write articles about the Russia / Ukraine war, Trump's comments will be considered and, in some instances, will be written as the truth.

Won't happen until at least 2027-28. 115 will have to start in League 2 next season.
