There is a phrase for someone's blissful ignorance - 'he looked like a Labrador being shown a card trick'. This one is clearly clever and is trying to figure out how the magician managed to pull out that King.

The 50% mineral rights demand is straight out of the school bully playbook. "I'll make sure no-one beats you up, but only if you give me half your lunch money." (Then takes lunch money but does little to protect kid who still gets beaten up, including by bully)

You would think that they could have just asked the NSA to get them a copy of the data. Seems wasteful to do all this. Better efficiency!

Round my way we used to use offcuts of old wallpaper. My dad did my room once with wallpaper that had Concorde jets on it. Not just a cool room, but a whole season of cool looking school books.

Is there a setting where you can make them go vertical, then across, vertical back up, then across again, then spiral endlessly onwards?

Think it was pretty much done by Dave whilst the rest of the band were languishing in French jail. And he definitely had a strange side to him.

KFC could be his lawyer and he would still be in with a chance of acquittal. Actual Colonel Saunders brought back to life. Giving Southern homelies, instead of an actual legal summary. And he would still get him acquitted.

If I remember right, I think he also wrote Far, Far ,Away (from the ..in Flame film). Which is an outright classic.
