Easily beatable then. Labour just has to get over the line to 35%.

But would they get any seats? They might get the current independent ones if those MPs were to join the new party, but not much else. Also, the alure of a "Corbynist Lifeboat" party has faded over time. Transform Politics was effectively this and it hasn't come to much.

Thanks. I have wanted to do this for a few years. Retirement makes projects like this possible!

Thanks! It's been a massive undertaking. Even just writing out the original recording accurately took about six weeks. I wanted to get as close to the original as possible and I think I got there.

They might have given up.

There is evidence from the Ashcroft polling that Reform is managing to get people to vote who normally don't. This is something the Left has rarely managed to do. Apart from the Scottish Socialist Party in the wake of the Poll Tax campaign. And that didn't last.

I work hard every day to keep my hobby projects all going. I could easily just not focus on anything in particular. I'm retired so I don't have work commitments any more.

This was based on an unreleased demo from 1972. The mellotron and flute hadn't been overdubbed so Nigel added them in. It already had the Bond chord sequence, but a little quote from "Skyfall" towards the end was quite cute really.

The last wedding I went to I had to buy "extension straps" for my kilt. Yes, they do exist, for people of a certain age.

Interestingly Gordon Jackson and Stanley Baxter were Kenneth Williams closest lifetime male friends.

The pay is less than a warehouse job working for Lidl. Even at Scottish Living Wage rate. Its unsustainable.

It's batshit crazy. Like their hatred of the " bat tunnel". They know people are scared of bats. If it was a puppy dog tunnel they wouldn't be against it.

Thanks Denis. I would have found it on YouTube but I will have adapted it a bit. I actually did a version where I sing the first verse, but I'm not a singer and it was for my wife's birthday.

We could be in a position after the next general election that Labour is in coalition with Reform at Holyrood (to keep the SNP out) and Labour is in coalition with the Tories in Westminster (to keep Reform out). Absurd as it might sound there are people in Labour advocating both positions.

Just had a discussion with someone about charismatic services not being inclusive for neurodiverse people. "They can bring ear protectors or go to a special service just for them so we are being inclusive". Yep, OK. I am sure those people are considered as Christian as the people dancing.

Most of my trade union friends believe these polls are faked to help the Tories. This is the reason they give for inaction. Simply nothing to worry about.

OK 47% It's still a huge swing to the right in British politics. The left has been otherwise engaged.

More than half the population say they will vote Reform or Tory at the next election. Politics have moved to the right because the left has sat on its hands for too long. It also went very "student politics" with its obsessions over things that would make no difference while the right grew.

Is this your recommended way of using the adapter? Mine actually bricked and Conrad had to send me a replacement.

We only get greys here. But Fox, Badger and grey Squirrel is pretty good for an urban garden. Strangely I haven't seen a mouse or rat for a couple of years. It may be the foxes deterring them.

Same thing happened to my wife, but on a golf course. She had to be recovered via a golf buggy to the ambulance. Subsequently given all clear. Hope your wife is OK

When I was tested (age 42) the psychologist couldn't believe how high my scores were considering how full my life was. I got round a lot of it by doing things I liked doing, that happened to produce a salary.
