I don't know much about Aus politics but it's the same in Canada. Liberals are rightly pleased with the win but voices on the right grow louder and unless libs offer a solution to wealth inequality beyond "grow the economy" they will continue to grow

Having a PhD does not make one a good politician. I'm not saying he'll be bad (though I think there's a good chance he will ignore wealth inequality and thus push regular people farther right for a solution), but we need someone who will listen to the problems of every day people, whether PhD or no

We can't keep doing what we've always done, or even if liberals keep power, it's only a matter of time before continued failures to address wealth inequality push people further right. You *must* address rising wealth inequality
