Catching up on @theneweuropean.bsky.social - incl. article re: tweet re: WBA fan death by swfc fan Richard Crisp. Agree that, like two other tweets from their ‘fans’ (one re: Lowery, one re: Baldock) response has been disproportionate. Stupid, crass, insensitive… but shouldn’t change a life.

The day I ran 13mi to Bristol Coach Station… coached it to Gatwick… flew to Genoa… ran over 20mi to my parents’ place… surprised them… but almost ended up staying a year instead of a long weekend. Almost.
