We just spend 15 minutes getting a hummingbird out of the house. It came in from the terrace garden and then tried to get out through the skylights which don't open. We had to wait til it tired and then get it to go into the attic and out the skylight that does open. Poor thing was panicking.

Living in Cuenca, Ecuador is not perfect. However, we (immigrants) are welcome. People are friendly and helpful. I'm healthier than I've been in years. People greet each other and chat, even if they don't have the same set of values. 🥰
