Keep up the good work. No one can tackle all the problems of the world. One step at a time and hope we don't have to go backwards.

This is a very transactional approach. It’s your way of seeing the world, which is fine. Another way is that we have friends who need help, and it is right to do it. One reason that I now live in Ecuador is that attitude. Just help because it’s the right thing to do.

This is the new Ministry of Truth and Musk wants to be the minister. Propaganda is a powerful weapon, and almost never used for the greater good.

They can get answers with a decent web browser and search for a topic. In fact they will have more choices and have to decide which one is the best answer. AI just tells them it’s truth and does the thinking for them. More dying brain cells.

Not hate, but realism. LLMs can be useful. I'm doing some research in how, when, and for whom it could be beneficial in software development. But, I wouldn't get into a driverless car yet. And the real skills of developing good software are decreasing as the students become more AI dependent.

LLMs only know what they're told, garbage in, garbage out. If you have zero education, how do you know whether what it spits out is correct? Without fundamentals and the ability to reason, you're at it's mercy and so easy to influence.

The unfortunate thing is that if you're in the minority of the voters, it doesn't matter what you do. However, if you can respectfully talk to one person with differing views and change their mind, that means something. Just change one at a time.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what they voted for, even if they didn't realize it. Listen to the lies, believe the lies, and like lemmings, just follow the leader off the cliff.

And the reply from the good Congressman. Seems very heartfelt. 😜 "Thank you for contacting me to express your views and concerns. Your input is highly valued, and as I consider the many issues pending before Congress, I will be sure to keep your thoughts in mind."
