And why waste the photo I dug out and then deleted... 23 years ago next week I probably drank too much at this ballboy gig...

Apologies to those who saw my quickly-deleted post, where I managed to get my MacIntyre/McIntyre mixed up. But both Colin and Gordon were and are brilliant 😀

I should add.. I really didn't like this LP for years, and now I can't stop playing it.

Perhaps you've listened to "Under The Blacklight" in the last month... surefire winner to put you on the Fleetwood Mac trail, I'm told. Total bollocks, of course.

I could fill a feed here, but when I moved from Oxford down to Devon back in 2003, I cycled down the train line and took pictures of... well, everything. This the first one that popped up, looking back; looks like the road over the line between Appleford and Culham...

Be thankful - I rewatched Upstart Crow over Xmas on the U player, and I'm pretty sure that just had the same single advert throughout.

And there's a great comment in the @carlajeaston.bsky.social film about Lung Leg - Everett True loved them, NME hated them... I remember reading all of this before I first saw them... I always trusted ET, he was right.

Well we all know SS were a 4-piece before the media turned them into a duo, don't we? @carlajeaston.bsky.social 's doc was a great watch, there can be very few people in the world who knew ALL the bands who featured in it, and I've got one or two to look up in the coming days...

It is the greatest cover version ever, surely?
