Yup. You figured it out. This is definitely a great way to win elections. After this, let's attack Obama some more.

This is how you create more terrorists.

Umm, call me crazy, but I'm guessing her fans!
I'm not personally a fan of hers but this is a big rude no?

I think they know people are watching. They just don't care!

I was recently having a discussion with a "friend" and I told him how I campaigned for Obama. He claimed that Obama was just as bad as Trump and called me a traitor.
This is why we lose elections.

You should check out some of the countries that have actually went through civil wars and see what happened to their economies.

It's really amazing isn't it? The markets appeasing Trump is actually increasing the probability of a massive crash when all of this catches up to us.

It still amazes me that TSLA hasn't fallen 90%+

And even when they are caught outright lying, they get a slap on the wrist.

For the right price, I can read them to you. 😂

This is starting to remind me of that scene in the Godfather 2 (not yet) where Michael notices the sacrifices the street protesters were willing to make and it worries him. The scene was set immediately b4 the Cuban revolution occurs.

I get shouted down quite a bit for just having an opinion here. I'm an old school lib that believes in minority/women's rights, access to affordable healthcare, smaller class sizes, better paid teachers and social workers, etc. But here I'm certainly not welcomed.

The replies in this thread sorta prove the point.

It helped put Trump back into office. Plus, our LE and criminal justice systems are cruel and corrupt and need to be reformed top to bottom. "Defund the police" misses this fact!

Won't the entire area be fenced off?

We'll wait and see what they do to the condition of the roads and pavement they are going to plow over. Where's DOGE?

Are we canceling CQ now too? It's hard to keep up.

There's a likelihood that AI won't "do it all," at least not for quite a while. There still may be huge disruptions in individual areas of the workforce. Maybe some sort of UBI or other government assistance directed at specifically effected areas of the labor market may help.

I suppose some version (maybe limited) of Universal Basic Income may help.

At least the entire administration is consistent.

Nothing. I don't think people realize how easy it is for them to unilaterally change these rules.

Did Columbia refuse to release this footage to Khalil's lawyers without subpoena? Maybe I missed that part. The existence of a subpoena doesn't mean that they wouldn't have given it up anyway. Maybe Khalil's lawyers were just trying to be as "official" as possible.

Canceling so many people has helped lose elections and SC seats.

If I may ask, how long do you have to read each session / day? It sounds grueling to me. Also, do you have to do many re-reads or do they generally use your first read?

I happen to think he's genuine in what he says. He's just very uneducated and unread. I believe he believes what he says though.

I know I'm in the minority, but I'd love to consider the possibility of somehow taxing bandwidth. There is something to be said about the yesteryear of capped text levels and throttled throughput.

And the Treasury Sec goes on TV and literally says "who cares?" And neither the WSJ nor Bloomberg includes his quote of "who cares" in their headlines. Just amazing!
