So let's get this straight: The U.S. and Elon are now extorting Ukraine and threatening to turn off their Starlink Internet access unless they give their critical rare earth minerals to the United States? Staggering levels of corruption.

Yes. I find it very obvious that removing Trump from office is way less scary than letting him continue to purge our armed forces, law enforcement community, and intelligence community. If that continues, there is zero plausible way the safety of members of Congress can be guaranteed.

Some actual good news, for now, Montana lawmakers overwhelmingly rejected the proposed ban on mRNA vaccines. 🩺 🛟

Seems legit.... We don't want to be a nation of underachieving Americans.

Teachers teach. We need a leaderful movement, and there are leaders all around us.

Once again, Jasmine Crockett brings it home:  We don't win if we don't try, but if we try and we lose, at least we know we tried to make this world a better place .

Yes, please.

www.aol.com/barred-runni... Trump raised the topic of another term Thursday during a Black History Month event at the White House and during a speech to Republican governors.

After the State of the State yesterday, I headed over to a roundtable discussion to hear how pharmacy benefit managers have driven the cost of prescription drugs up at the expense of families. This is an industry that needs regulation. Illinoisans need and deserve nothing less.

For too long, pharmacy benefit managers have been the middlemen between Illinoisans and their prescriptions, adding costs without real value. Greater transparency and major industry reform are needed — the Prescription Drug Affordability Act reins in their predatory practices.

Trump promised he wouldn't touch Medicaid. He lied. 2 out of every 5 births in this country are covered by Medicaid.... #DontCutMyMedicaid

Noticed these three while walking in Jaffa of Tel Aviv Jaffa. These are little egrets, a common sight in East and Southeast Asia. Here they were taking the advantage of a little pond created by the waves trapping potential lunch.

I think there’s this tendency to assume Musk enters each agency with some kind of plan. But his office is 30 people, largely children, and the federal government employs millions. He spends half his time on drugs, tweeting, doing interviews. It’s all random noise www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

It shouldn’t be considered an act of bravery to stand up for what we already fought for.

So many odd connections between Musk and Trump and Putin. Not a coincidence. bsky.app/profile/jaco...

LA mayor dismisses fire chief over response to most destructive wildfire in city history last month

My wife went to a classic White Flight private school in Strom Thurmond's home town, named, subtly enough, after an author of South Carolina's Articles of Secession. Oof. (It was the only area teaching job her young single mother could find, and faculty were required to send their children there)

President Trump is wrongfully firing Minnesotans serving the American public, from the Park Service to the VA. These reckless cuts don’t just impact our neighbors who've been laid off — they impact critical services for all of us.

Just so everybody is clear on Republican priorities: We put up an amendment to make sure nobody making over $500 million gets a tax cut. Republicans voted against it.

President Trump told the American people that he wanted to be a dictator on day one. Now in office, he and his administration are making good on that promise with illegal and unconstitutional actions that directly threaten Americans’ economic, personal, and national security.

Honestly, though, if you're shocked, are you really up to this moment as a member of Congress?

If Kamala Harris had been elected, she'd be focused right now on helping you take care of your mom at home through Medicare instead of all of what Trump's focused on instead.

My new favorite drug is Republican members of Congress getting yelled at in their districts by constituents who hate Musk.
