Agreed but with the advent of loot boxes it's hard to keep that from them. If it's done with earned in-game currency and can not be cashed out for real money then I think it should be fine.

As someone that lived through the CSGOLounge era, this can actually foster viewership and community **If Done Right**
That last part is key and partially to why lounge got shut down; it was too hard to maintain some amount of integrity in the competitive scene when things were run by a third party.

Curate the timeline to be what you want it to be. That's why my timeline is pretty much smut, kobold posting, and Kino Fabino.

The tops just exist, it's just hard to find decent bottoms that aren't "oh I want someone to tell me what to do but I'll only do what benefits me because that's bratty"
I'm tired of people using 'brat' as a rationale for them to just choose to not do anything and then complain that they're bored.

I'm sure I'm going to catch some shit for this, but Chrono Trigger. Never have I ever had a game put me to sleep during the opening sequence.
Squaresoft made such better games in that time period, like FF6, Secret of Mana, and even Secret of Evermore are far better than Chrono Trigger.
