Slightly more seriously. It's crazy how the entire supposed constitutional theory of Trump 2.0 is that all power is vested in this single individual, down to every last tiny detail and whenever you ask him he's like "I have no idea; ask the lawyers"

The Fed particularly had egg on its face. Two of the crypto banks that failed in 2023 were Fed supervised and FTX managed to take over a third (tiny) bank, seemingly under the Fed's nose.
The agencies are quickly undoing a lot of well-founded protections.
