Thanks, they sent the questions over ahead of time so I had a little thinking space. Meant to name check a lot more people as I’m a firm believer that it’s the community that makes LW so good but it all got a little rushed.

Original scene by Andrew March and kludged around by me. Any mistakes are definitely mine not his.

Thank you. No this is a real concept for a intra solar system ship, powered by VASIMR nuclear engines. Lots of heat generated which has to be radiated away - hence the glow. Having said that Solar Sail ships are awesome ! I've done a couple of images featuring them.

Brings to mind the opening credits of The 1979 Battlestar Galactica tv show.

That’s fantastic Nick.

Kinda getting there, thought it made more sense to have the glow radiate from the engines more.

Thanks. It was a pleasure and honour to be asked. A little bit nerve wracking,,as it was so far out of my comfort zone.

Some blue gals I drew. Minmay is a gouache. I made about 5 paintings then gave up and went pure digital. Far less messy. And no more ruined paint brushes to clean.

Can’t really take much credit for that one, it’s a LW Octane conversion of a Blender scene. The majority of the work was by Andrew March with a few tweaks and additions by me. Definitely a learning exercise in Octane.
