FACT - The JCPOA negotiated by Obama in 2015: Reduced Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium Limited the number of centrifuges International monitoring of nuclear facilities. In 2018, Trump withdrew the U.S. from the agreement. People are dead in this "crisis" because of Trump.

Yes. I am right. I am seeing how Chat GPT is ruining students critical thinking and writing skills in real time. It is not the future. It is a tool designed to render the populace helpless, to make people doubt their innate intelligence, and to foster overreliance on technology.

In January, Musk downplayed the Starship 7 explosion as “barely a bump in the road" and seemed to brush off safety concerns, posting a video of the flaming debris field with the caption, “Success is uncertain, but entertainment is guaranteed!” From our May 2025 story:

The 988 Suicide and Crisis Prevention Lifeline included a service that provided specialized suicide prevention support by phone and text for LGBTQ+ kids. That's ending.

Trump and Musk's feud heats up—grudges, government contracts, and explosive claims leave little room for reconciliation. @eoinhiggins.bsky.social youtube.com/shorts/k3Cl6... Follow The Ken Harbaugh Show here: linktr.ee/thekenharbau...

Dept. of Education funds states and school districts, including low income schools & special education. It oversees Pell Grants & student loans. Republicans are trying to destroy protections for vulnerable students & steal taxpayer dollars. Fight back!

What does it mean when a Secretary of Defense won’t say on the record whether he will refuse to execute an illegal order? It reminds me of Communist China, not the America we know.

The moral arc of the universe bends towards justice, but we need to remember, the arc does not bend by itself

Do you know who else didn't have beds? Detainees at Nohra, the first Nazi concentration camp. They slept on blankets and straw in March 1933. No barbed wire, no crematoria, no mass executions. Those came later. Detainees were held in "protective custody" on the grounds of a military school.

Cutting specialized suicide prevention services for LGBTQ youth — during Pride Month, no less — is disgusting. To our LGBTQ youth: California has your back. We’ll keep investing in resources to help you lead safe and healthy lives.

“The poll finds Americans opposing U.S. airstrikes against Iran by a 20 percentage-point margin — 45 percent to 25 percent — with a sizable 30 percent saying they are unsure.”

It’s utterly insane the way Congress has abdicated its role in warmaking. And my God is it dangerous. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/17/w...

This crisis in Iran is entirely because of Trump's shitty leadership. They stopped installing centrifuges until Trump ripped up the deal Iran made with President Obama—simply out of spite. Now he's barreling toward another poorly planned conflict in the Middle East. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

This proves that GOP senators all have the same constituents, no matter who lives in their states: Very Rich People.

Today in Skrmetti, SCOTUS said bans on gender-affirming care for trans minors didn’t violate the Equal Protection Clause. But as our managing editor @kasiawolfkot.bsky.social explains, state courts can interpret state constitutions differently.

Republicans’ “big beautiful” bill, if enacted as drafted, would make some of the biggest changes to the federal student loan system in decades.

As the US flirts with war in Iran, it's important to note that any nuclear threat there is largely one that we created when Trump pulled out of the JCPO agreement in 2018. It can't be overstated how stupid that was. More explanation here: medium.com/cognitive-fe...

Trump created the problem. The single reason Iran was so close to obtaining a nuclear weapon is that Trump destroyed the diplomatic agreement that put major, verifiable constraints on their nuclear program.

I HIGHLY recommend reading Strongmen by @ruthbenghiat.bsky.social. She spells out everything we need to know about dictators, including how to deal with them to hasten their demise. Read the book and #resist.

Colorado election officials believe that a recent data request from the U.S. Department of Justice is part of a “fishing expedition” to help former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters.

Moulton: I have heard that a lot of officers are considering resigning their commissions because they question whether this is constitutional—whether they’re violating their oath to protect and defend the Constitution, not the president, by carrying out these orders. These are active discussions

A team of 60 international scientists report that by early 2028 society will have emitted enough greenhouse gases that the Earth will be pretty much locked into hitting the internationally agreed upon preferred limit for global warming.
