My fav Christmas heirloom. Hung in my husband's g-mother's house every Christmas for as long as anyone can remember. She would fold it up to put it away every year. A local conservator steamed and mounted it to ready for framing. Now it hangs on our wall every Christmas. #Genealogy

One of the things I look forward to most when decorating our Christmas tree is hanging these glass balls. They originally belonged to my great grandmother, who died when I was 6, so I have only faint memories of her. I even have the original Eaton's box they came in. #Genealogy #FamilyHistory
