Sometimes I make a discovery that just makes my heart sing, like this death notice I discovered in a Nottingham newspaper for my 4th great-grandmother dated September 1834! She sounds like she was a lovely soul 💜 #Genealogy #FamilyHistory

My fav Christmas heirloom. Hung in my husband's g-mother's house every Christmas for as long as anyone can remember. She would fold it up to put it away every year. A local conservator steamed and mounted it to ready for framing. Now it hangs on our wall every Christmas. #Genealogy

One of the things I look forward to most when decorating our Christmas tree is hanging these glass balls. They originally belonged to my great grandmother, who died when I was 6, so I have only faint memories of her. I even have the original Eaton's box they came in. #Genealogy #FamilyHistory

Carol Annett - "An Unexpected Gift" An unexpected gift of information broke down a 10-year-old brick wall and led Carol to discovering the complete story of her ancestor

For years, I’ve charted and mapped my ancestry in every way imaginable. Data-driven #genealogy provides focus to research and meaning to our #FamilyHistory. www.familysleuther.com/2024/11/data...

I finally got time to create my 6 generations chart. Think I will do my sons' next as it should be quite interesting. #Genealogy #SixGenerations

Hubby sent me these at work today. Just because. 😊❤️

Post you from a different era. #Genealogy #FamilyHistory This is the picture I show when people ask me where my children and grandchildren get their red hair from 😊
