There is almost nothing better on a Friday than to hang out with friends, especially Northerners. Come join us in the Lodge this week for a relaxed chat about whatever is on your mind around Webflow, #nocode, web design / dev, etc. Fri. Mar. 14 @ 12 EDT bit.ly/ncn-newlodge

I mean this is so so good. youtu.be/JJpFTUP6fIo?... vibes

Just want a place to chat, share and meet. Everything is about social bragging or having to checkout the latest AI achievement. It’s exhausting. Going to give this another try.

Variable modes now out for webflow. This means we can finally do responsive text sizes through variables. Also you can create custom modes for use in say light and dark mode. So many possibilities. Hopefully modes as props will come soon for components. #webflow #webdesign

There are a few principles were guided by when it comes to platform design. 1. Never drill down through navigation but bubble content to the surface when the use calls. 2. Remove noise only surface what is needed at onetime. As focus changes remove previous views. 3. Have clear purposeful zones

Goals for 2025. Create more content which can help teams: Storytell through value proposition to engage customers and convert like crazy. Increase awareness of Webflow in the UK and dispel misconceptions. Techniques to get past the tension of creating content and leveraging branding .

Planning out the story for interactivity doesn’t need to be a work of art, just get across the principle idea. Wireframes don’t really add much value but a rough sketch is worth its weight.

All of our branding starts with words, we gather all internal collateral and find common words. From there we extract the sentiment, building the foundation for the story. By using the existing material we don’t reinvent the story but reform making it more organic and reduce friction to adoption.

Was looking back a some of photography shoots we did in the past. Always so much fun, planning and sketching the idea, the team doing make up. With AI we wonder how much we’ll be able to do this in the future?

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you’re all having a great time with family and loved ones. To our #webflow friends thank you for an incredible year love you all immensely.

No work this week, it’s time to focus on family and taking time to be with those people who matter and reflect on all of the things we’re grateful for. Might be pulling out the board games tomorrow for an uncompetitive game of cluedo then if we survive trivial pursuit.

It’s coming along, lots of styling still to do but now with map and wayfinding and a node system which needs work, it’s rendering in the canvas so styling is tricky. #webflow #interface #futuristic

Hope this is helpful to someone. When building any b2b website we first try to understand the sales cycle. Stage 1: first print, that person looking for a solution on hehalf of the company/directors. Stage 2: second pass. The validation team so tech team, cto Stage 3: CEO approval

Memories of designing this funky brand and app, the shop which was video shopping for independent product companies. Created as a platform/tool to build on influence. #appdesign #branding #uxui #videoapp

Some more healthcare brand work. This time for remote patient monitoring in a the US. Based in NY.

More on the futuristic interface in Webflow. Modelled in blender then imported to spline added materials and animated. More to do lots of little details to add then make it all functional. Maps are coming.

Little question. Who can tell us what is wrong with this message? “We provide leading management software and unwavering customer support, our management software helps owners and manager streamline and simplify their daily operations. Combining simplicity and affordability” Learn to spot this.

Bit of branding this time for health tech lab in the UK helping patients detect implant allergies from cobalt chrome.

Curious question why have language translators still not caught up to how the language of choice actually speaks? Take German translating from German to English is generally good but the other way round is 70% bad.

Quick lesson. You can break down Value Proposition into 3 categories. 1. Monetary 2. Perception 3. Retention When describing a benefit think about the impact that has on a person/company and what does it fall under. 1,2,3 or a combination. This has been our primary focus for storytelling.

Sharing a bit more interface work we did this is for a solar monitoring team where we had to manage a lot of data insight. The philosophy was less data visualisation more explicit metrics. So there was no interpretation and quicker response.

We’re up to 125 on the #webflow starter pack, seems like people are still arriving, give this a boost to help them find the community! go.bsky.app/Tij44E5

Flash back to some Branding/UI/UX work we did for climate tech startup. Premise was to create a trackable exchange for carbon credits - you actually would be able to see the trees growth in relation to issued credits over time. Loved this one. #climatestartup

Because of editing hrs I haven't shared the course build in public (yet!). But he's a screenshot of a recent-ish dashboard UI. Its: Webflow + Outseta + BoldVideo, along with a magic API to allow people to see their progress. We built and designed this experience from scratch and it feels amazing.

We’ve been working on a killer process and secret sauce for website engagement. The results are crazy best of all it’s will help you win more work. Just trying to figure out the best way to share. Video, Thread, Blog Post, Online Call. Would love to know if you struggle with on of the following.

This is but a small amount that both us and @shrink.studio have built this year.

Found this little number from back in 2010 interface for guitar app. We only used what was native in photoshop no external resources. We miss skeuomorphism. What do you have from the past you’re proud of?
