"Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive. No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief." - Chris Murphy (read his summary below)

High Tariffs on food items and everyday consumer goods is a shift of tax burden to the less well off.
When such tariffs are surprise announcements it could rake in big money for billionaire hedge fund owners if in they are in the know.

Blossom game, if you realize you got a bad start don't use reset game under settings.
It updates all your pass scores to zero. Your streak will be maintained but all your boss record will be gone.

Macho Man and YMCA are MAGA anthems... Apparently?
Just read the Personal life/Donald Trump section and check the references. You couldn't make it up.

In this new era of Trump and Musk politics I think Exantisexists and Antitaxnesses need added to the dictionary.

I'm sure you have same #2solve as me. I usually have to spend a good while looking for a 2solve.
Today, the first word I tried, the double second word, then worked out first word easily.
Never done that before, I'm sorting of disappointed what to do with next hour?

To be fair, I'm with him on crypto....
Although coming from someone who's involved in meme coins which is of little use to anyone except money launders I doubt he's serious about talking all crypto.

You have a letter boxed streak?
I rarely actually complete letter boxed as I might want to look for a second #2solve later in the day.

You can't, at least not quickly or easily but you can avoid doing things that aid the bot accounts in their purpose.

We discuss what the methods might be and the orange one picks the most workable ideas.

I didn't manage a 2solve today, busy with other things.
Loosing a streak?
Letter Boxed is unique amongst online puzzles in that there really is no need to complete it with a final "Enter", in fact completion prevents the search for more solutions.

This "new" Smart ForTwo appears to be based on the model which ceased production in 2014 and not the platform shared with Renault that's been in production for past ten years?

If I remember correctly, back before it came to market, it was going to be something like $50K, be 100% truck, 100% car and 100% reliable...
It was all 100% hype.

That whole Musk prefers Rupert over Nigel thing was because they knew they were going to screw our country and wanted to protect their man Nigel from the toxic backlash.

I usually manage 2 but today's was more tricky. I could place 7 of 8 letters from my first word but was left with multiple options on the final letter.
I did managed a 2 on Thirdle though.

I pondered whether or not it was a word, but thinking about it, although it's almost always followed by jug, it obviously is.

I got the same as you first although I think the the official solution is more likely different.

On your first guess always try and use four vowels including A & E. Five or six of D,L,N,R,S & T and if you can get them C & P.
Repeat letters, I only saw once. Two E's
Less common letters, it's rare to see more than one.
You should be able to solve in two more than half the time.

It wasn't a word I knew either
William Shakespeare used the word in his plays, sometimes to describe something easily swallowed or something trivial.
Google told me it was something set alight and floated on a liquor. Found looking for words including 🐲
