I'll check this out. I always loved the Fire Walk With Me sample at the beginning of El's second album.

No, James is cool. He's always been cool.

This is purely anecdotal and seems to be from people whining about not getting personal service from the planning/building department. They deal with hundreds/thousands of permits a year.

That's not how that works. Private companies are contracted ahead of time. There are legal timelines set by law which can only be paused when additional information is necessary. Private review is used to "reduce costs" for gov'ts that can't pay enough staff.

Ah, I thought it was the Ricky Starks one:

Is Babou an ocelot? And did you name him in honour of Dali or Archer?

You're also putting the highest estimated total of the 25 year occupation of East Timor on him. Its a huge stretch to be edgy.

This list is complete bullshit. Carter *ended* the funding to Somoza and any links to Pol Pot are extremely tenuous at best. US backing of the Khmer Rouge didn't ramp up until after Carter was out of office.

They were cost effective because of massive government loans with almost no interest on them, tied to the expansion of the highway system. That, combined with the lower price on land outwith cities made it economically enticing. The crackdown on greenfield development has made it less profitable.

It's already been legalized in all of California. Almost no applications were even submitted. The major issue is developers won't build their way out of a profit, which is why public housing is necessary.

I just stumbled across this the other day and it's fantastic.

No need to bring your wife into this.

I love that Pablo went to college with Vivek and has gone on record that he's always been an annoying twerp.

This is bizarre and incorrect. Have a great rest of your Boxing Day.

What the fuck are you even on about?

AJ, it's Boxing Day. Go spend some time with loved ones, not regurgitating Daily Mail articles.

Yes, and unions set the rules for what the employer must offer to the employee. You don't know what a union is or does, do you?

How many times did he sit on his own balls?
comment in response to post
Huh? Unions set the rules for what the contracts have to include. Look, I'm done with this convo, but you clearly have no idea what unions do and should educate yourself about them. Especially if you're going to embarrass yourself publicly like this
comment in response to post
So, the shareholders not the employees. Unions ensure the employees get their fare share of the profits. I hope this illuminates the issue for you.
comment in response to post
Who leverages them? You are getting so close...
comment in response to post
It's not, but you either know that or again have no idea what you are talking about.
comment in response to post
It does not. No company pays any employee more than the shareholders make.
comment in response to post
Huh, how to these companies keep making record profits without raising wages by record setting amounts? And as the labourers are the ones who make 100% of the income, why do they only get 90%?
comment in response to post
They didn't make any of those decisions now, did they? A union ensures that the workers are receiving a fair share of the profits made from their labour and ensures employment protections. Again, you do not know what you are talking about.
comment in response to post
And private employees are not civil servants. You don't know what you are talking about.
comment in response to post
Who makes more: the employees or the shareholders?
comment in response to post
It absolutely did not cause the cost of living crisis. That is one of the most ignorant takes I think I've seen.
comment in response to post
Yeah. Who needs workers' rights or fair pay?

He just blocked me either for that or saying I'd never apologize for calling him a dweeb. But sure, he'd angrily confront his haters in real life.

No, he's really big and tough. It was a whole thing he melted down about a couple months ago.

I will never apologize for calling you a dweeb and dunking on you.

Big ups, Zombuddy. You're the best undead friend a guy could ask for!
