Amazing #StarWarsDay artwork featured on Disney+. 🎨

May the Fourth Be With You All. Especially as I do a heinous amount of puns for the next few days.

There is emotion; yet peace There is ignorance; yet knowledge There is passion; yet serenity There is chaos; yet harmony There is death; and there is the Force

I—

Why.

So I did a thing & uploaded some of my designs to InkBox in the hopes that I could do a dry run on what’d be like to have a tattoo that’s mine (even if temporary) & get a feel for the placement etc. We’ll see how long it takes them to get here since it’s custom and not just sitting in a warehouse.

One of these days I’ll get a ref sheet together for my lad. So many options. But I do want to perfect that standardized animated/cartoonish look

Me: Okay so we did the whole 20 years of ROTS. Now where’s my 10 years of TFA? Lucasfilm:

Oh we are SO winning #TalesOfTheUnderworld #StarWars

It’s taking all I can muster to NOT purchase the UCS Venator today…

I’m curious about the reflections of each Master and how they chose to deal with Brendok. Indara seemed to seek out community and keep to the mission. As the one who had potentially the greatest wisdom about the situation she also had the least to feel guilty about.

I have to wonder what the Stanger offered Mae (besides companionship/company) given how surprised she was to learn Osha was alive. Also given her sudden willingness to abandon the path as her only goal was reuniting with Osha, it couldn’t have been anything more than revenge.

One of my all time bangers was when S1 of Andor was making its way and I was guesting on some pods. It was related to the interactions between Skeen and Andor. I said “He [Skeen] believes they may be cut from the same cloth but fails to realize they are dyed different colors.”

Surely this is a result of my ADHD. See also the cycle of forgetting to take the meds that are supposed to help me not forget to do things.

My PoliSci major w/ dual-minor in Philosophy and Criminal Justice thanks to a Jesuit education is SINGING about the educational essays and implications of all that I understand about Star Wars and the Force. I love being a fan and talking about the celluloid truth of what transpires in the fiction

In reading @thescottjayro.bsky.social’s text on Midi-chlorians and the Force I have to speculate and wonder: While the Path of the Open Hand evokes an Indigenous view of the Force to (at least on the surface) live in harmony with the Force, they also hold a vehement opposition to use of the Force.

The new Jedi Texts. Seriously though both of these items make my little Jesuit-educated heart so happy and filled with joy. Maybe it’s time we explore Thomas Aquinas’ Natural Law and The Five Ways as it relates to the Force. We could pepper in some Metaphysics for fun.

It is an immutable fact that should this magnificent bastard show up in any way in #StarWars #Andor season two that we will categorically explode with glee.

Post-ROTS reading before bed.

Sad day… Not exactly sure why this happened but I just picked it up off the stand and *bloop* 🥲

Going to watch the opening of X2 on loop for no apparent reason.

It ROTS night baby.

This is why I can’t have nice things…
