Yeah, it's painful. But we need leaders who are brave enough to take on Trump. If that guy is Newsom, so be it. Those of us who believe in democracy are going to have to join together. As they used to say, "politics makes strange bedfellows".

Saw this coming even before the election. If everything is based on lies and everyone in place is a political toady, the end of reliable economic statistics is inevitable. This won't be good for any of us, including Wall Street.

They are especially dropping investigations on white collar crime and domestic terrorism, and basically all of Trump's other hobbies.

He was talking tacos. It was "90 meals in 90 days".

Ooh, another angry letter. Yeah, that'll work. 🙄

And that 1970 studio audience appeared to agree with June. 🙂

Ok. Am a political junkie and don't follow entertainers or sports. But will give it a listen if I recognize anybody on there. 😄

Seems the right time for this to come to light. Hopefully a sign that the tyranny of an autocrat will once again be vanquished from American shores.

And Grover didn't take the statue home with him when he left office.

This is what they want. Survival of the fittest to eliminate the sick, the weak, the poor, the elderly, the needy. More wealth for the men who will control society.

Why does this make me more worried about elections instead of less? Something else is planned to assure they keep full control.

Exactly the photo I thought of when he made those remarks. Thinks he's king, we are his serfs. We are nothing to him. This is dangerous.

First step to putting military in our streets.

And remember, Trump said in that recent Time interview that the US is a store, he owns the store and he sets the prices.

Only blonde hair dye will be allowed. He will sign an executive order outlawing darker shades.

Don't get it yet? Only white men matter to the fascist christian nationalist regime.

Also, they want to spread fear, teaching us that they can do anything to us and we can't stop them. For their coup to succeed in such a big, powerful country as ours, they must move fast, use shock tactics and, I'm afraid, use sheer brutality as needed.

Nice try, God. But you haven't got a prayer.

There's no way you are as dumb as Americans. Canadians will do the right thing this election, and remain a beacon of hope and a key player in the defense of liberal democracy and human rights. Elbows up.

Can't make this stuff up.

Sadly, that bill will, of course, go nowhere.

Sure, let's start with Donald and Elon.

Nice work, Anthony! Love the spring colors. 😊

I forget. Who owns X again? These people are shameless.

Good. Whatever it takes. Everything is on the line. Boycott. Don't visit or buy American goods. Starve the beast, until Americans get the message and get rid of him. He and his enablers are a danger to the entire free world.

I still struggle to understand the willful dishonesty. Who raised these people?

If only we were like South Korea. Or France, who just convicted Le Pen. These countries care enough to do what it takes to protect precious democracy.

History shows that when only 3.5% of the population rises in protest, regime change happens. Call, visit, email, petition your Senators, Congressmen, and local and state government officials. Join actions in the streets. Help candidates run for office. If enough people stand up, leaders will emerge.

Lol. Wait til you're 55. A mere child. 😊

One man is enabling this. Tell Mike Johnson to do his job and allow the vote to bring an end to the fictional "economic emergency" that is allowing Trump to do this. The Senate has already voted and passed that bill. You can bet Johnson's constituents will not be spared.
comment in response to post
Doesn't work that way, sorry. But, they could speak up and help get these people out of office.

It's a deliberate direct attack, just like the ongoing dismantling of the government, on the US and the West, courtesy of influence on dummy Trump of Putin and the technology oligarchy movement that seeks to remake society where they control it all.
comment in response to post
Mike Johnson will never allow that. Remember, he thinks Trump is the return of Jesus Christ.

It's a real thing and they are implementing it. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/i...

To be fair, with his abject failure to lead the response to COVID, he also had a lot to do with that 2020 high.

They simply want to eliminate poor people. More money for them. Everything they have done to date points to their law of the jungle/survival of the fittest mentality. But America will not stand for much more of this. A reckoning is coming.

When you get tired of rallies, marches and town halls, remember Cory Booker. We can't stop until they are all gone from power. America needs us.

Well, he was right to assume his voters were too stupid to see through his clown act.

Growing public pressure on our lawmakers. Their phones are ringing nonstop. Offices crowded with constituents. Keep it up! What we are doing on the streets and in our communities is working.

Anticipatory obedience. Caving to fascists and voluntarily suppressing free speech. So, at what point does the press actually realize they are helping to smooth the ever shorter path to tyranny.
comment in response to post
They don't care about regular people. It's a fire sale. Everything must go. The country, to them, is a shopping cart of assets for the super rich to cart off. Only rubble and despair will remain for the rest of us.
comment in response to post
They cannot achieve their totalitarian regime unless they control elections. They fully intend to complete their mission, already the fastest in modern history. They will do everything to stop or rig elections, like Putin does. This is our most crucial issue. We must protect our right to vote.
comment in response to post
It's their only path to a permanent autocratic state. They will try to stop the 2026 elections. We had all better work together to make sure they fail. It is our final bulwark against outright tryanny. We have only gotten just a taste of what that means, and it is horrifying.
comment in response to post
Probably done deliberately to distract the press. Look into what they are up to. For example, besides squeezing money out of helpless seniors and disabled on social security they also quietly said they're closing FEMA. Got little press coverage. Or that weird Iran remark from Trump...
comment in response to post
On purpose. You're right, rules don't apply. They are on the side of our now former adversaries. They want them to listen in. And, they enjoy the sputtering outrage from the rest of us. The distraction gives them a few more days coverage to continue raping and pillaging our federal instititions.

Wishing them a loving, safe reunion very soon, and a long, happy life together in a free and democratic Ukraine.

Made no sense, intentionally. He and his wealthy MIL are trolling us. Every honest recipent would rightly demand (and probably badly need) their money. The only fraudster I know who would complain and draw attention to themselves if found out is his boss, DJT. He's made an art of it.

I just can't anymore...

Because the ones trying to erase America are Republicans and they are evil human beings. Dems are just clueless. The people will straighten them out.

Aa in all dictatorships, "prosecution" will take place in kangaroo courts.
