it's not dangerous but it's also insane that no actors are balding anymore. you have to have the hairline of a twelve year old for no reason

If you're looking for what caused a rise in autism, it's not vaccines or toxins or "bad" food. It's just finally having a word to put to a collection of traits and a way of experiencing the world that's been around forever.

I did not magically become autistic at 40. My cousin did not magically become autistic in her 40s. Autism did not magically appear in our family with the two of us. It's always been there, passed down through generations and shrugged off as a specific brand of quirkiness unique to our family.

theres also the bit where he went around claiming his thigh was made of pure gold and he'd show it to you in private if you believed in him hard enough

Acc to Pythagoras and hagiographers, he studied under the Egyptians, in mesopotamia, was taught arithmetic by the Phoenicians, was admitted to a gurukul in India and was personally taught philosophy by Zarathusthra because of his talent. In reality, he was the very shady failson of a jewel trader

I get not wanting to see something on your feed but the sheer high-handed affront on this site that someone you chose to follow dared to share a picture or a screenshot of something you didn’t like without checking with you first is unbelievable

Ha ha, weird how Starmer, nor any of his expensive advisers seem to notice that a large chunk of working class voters are also 1st or 2nd generation immigrants! Also oddly missed how often white working class "concerns" about immigration just means "there are too many Black and Brown people here."

This wrote insistence that working class people simply MUST be racist, homophobic, transphobic, and generally bigoted slime balls feels like the real classism here. Maybe Starmer could do with considering that a whole class of people AREN'T a bigoted monolith, and are actually individual people

Working class people we absolutely must keep looking down on however: Trade unionists, people with concerns about climate change, people with concerns about Britain's arms deals, people with concerns about privatising the NHS, people in favour of nationalising water, actual immigrants, and more

I'm working class, what about my concerns about people who have concerns about immigration?

It’s understandable. To a certain extent the Republicans are inherently out of our control. Whereas the Democrats feel like we (and by we I mean American progressives) should be able to exude at least some sort of influence and yet they have no interest in representing their constituents

Stop telling us to be nice to them just because some other reactionaries also hate them. Fuck that! They're a patriarchal white supremacist manifest destiny doomsday cult founded by a pedophile! You don't have to "respect them" just because other evil evangelicals think they're weird!
