Great post by @jenrubin.bsky.social. If you are ever in Munich, I can recommend visiting the Nazi History museum (NSDOKU). Same strategy. Target individual institutions with resources and power. When they fold, those with less will do the same.

The title of your post reminds me of this fun paper we wrote a while back showing men book work trips later than women (and pay more). It would be fun to do this with a large conference submission database and see if there is a correlation. jhr.uwpress.org/content/57/6...

Super interesting. Thanks for sharing. I wish they also split it by gender! I wonder if the changes in beliefs about the value of college is concentrated in men. Is there an obvious reason why they didn't do this?
