Oh yes we do still have protests and strikes of course. Does it change anything ? No. Just look at what happened with the massive protest about the retirement age change recently. We only had police violence, and the law still remains. Believe me, we do not "cut the head of the rich" anymore.

French here, came to say that is not reality. We also have our wannabee king here. But we have more than two parties and effective counter power to handle that. Now he just doesn't care anymore about the mess he put in the country and just play on the international scene.

Le problème n'est pas tellement pour nous, consommateurs finaux, bien que l'on soit prisonniers d'Android, Ios etc. Non par contre, pour les entreprises qui sont ultra dépendantes d'Office365, Azure, AWS, Saleforce et j'en passe... Aucune alternative n'existe.
